A French variety very near to 'Royal' and our own 'Blenheim'. Fruits resemble but are always smaller than the largest fruits of 'Royal', less inclined to produce hollow space around the freestone pit, and less often to produce pitburn in hot weather. Tree and fruits comparable to Royal, has the same climatic limitations and has otherwise performed identically to Royal in our area. A seedling that originated in the neighborhood of Millas, 17 km west of Perpignan before 1920. Was planted in the departements of Pyrenees-Orientales and Gard at mid-XX century, but now like all apricots, gradually vanishing from the scene in French Midi. 750 hours. On Citation.
