A French variety of great value for extending the apricot season. Fruits are very large, deep orange and highly satisfactory sugar content and fairly aromatic. The faults of the variety are two: alternate bearing and reduced productivity, so much as to prevent this from becoming a commercial fruit. It is however a variety that the apricot lover cannot be without, producing its crop nearly a month after the Royals and Blenheims.
