One of the fine forms of gage plum native of England, this ripens several weeks after 'Old Greengage' has gone, and is about the best of the late gages. Greenish bronze colored inside and out, flesh translucent, syrupy and rich with true gage flavor. Imperfectly fertile and should have another European plum as pollenizer. A hybrid of 'Old Greengage' x 'Coe's Golden Drop' (both offered last season) produced at Bryanston Park, Dorsetshire, in the 1820s. 700 hours. Mid - late August. On Myro 29C
