Cumberland

Magnificent white peach from Rutgers, ca. 1914.  'Belle of Georgia' x 'Greensboro', combining the high flavor of the latter with the productivity and color of the former.   High fuzz.  Flesh resembling Belle, light textured, soft and juicy, red around the pit.  Recommended for Eastern locations where Belle is not reliable.  Mid July.   750 hours.  On Lovell.
