Honeydew Hale This chimaerical mutation of J H Hale is white fleshed except for a narrow sector on each side of the suture, which is the usual yellow-orange of J H Hale, all the way to the pit. Not a mere novelty, this is a peach of at least the same excellent flavor and flesh quality as J H Hale, ripening a few days earlier. Also requires pollenizer. Mid-late August. 850 hours. On Lovell.
