One of Luther Burbank's original hybrid plums, made available posthumously and therefore missed the promotion it deserved. Inca is a large, teardrop shaped, white plum with fine lavender dapplings. Within, the flesh is naturally candied, sugary, dense, pale yellow. The earliest of all fruits to bloom, not pollinated by Mariposa. A tendency to break the pit while ripening, and consequent gum pockets, has prevented this from achieving commercial fame, but is right for the home garden.
