Our darkest pomegranate, Ink is one of the Winters varieties named by Dr Lovell. Aptly named, this produces modestly sized fruits, deep red outside. The arils are nearly black, highly acid and richly flavored of berry, of the flavor required by old-country recipes. A culinary variety, or may be used in blending of juices to achieve richness.
