Last of the ripening cycle of Pacific plums. Modoc is slightly oblate, apple shaped; skin bright cherry red over entirety, pit small, dense yellow flesh, less productive of juice than others, but longer keeping after harvest. Stringer HD1. Season early September. On Lovell.
