The early, white-fleshed peach for Southern California. Essentially a low-chill 'Mayflower', of which it is a child. Skin white, much marked with red; flesh ivory, some red at the pit, semi-freestone, sweet and juicy if sunny weather at time of ripening, less so if fog prevails. Strong aroma. Like all early fruits, the quality depends upon the heat experienced at the time of ripening. Robin is the early peach of choice for valley and inland areas, performs well in Ventura and Orange Counties. Early June. 300 hours. On Nemagard.
