A truly immense fruit, round, ivory with light red flush on shoulder; flesh white, soft. melting and juicy, with excellent sugar:acid balance. This variety was preserved from oblivion by the late Ernst Bierwagen of Grass Valley, who established his own, the only orchard of Silver Logan, to which purchasers willingly traveled many miles during the midsummer season.
