Midseason peach for Southern California. Immense, yellow fruits with little red coloring when well thinned. Flesh is yellow to the pit, semifree, somewhat fibrous but about the juiciest of the low-chill peaches. Produced at UC Riverside breeding program in the 1950s, the variety of choice to precede Redwing in valley and inland areas. Somewhat resistant to leaf curl. 300 hours. End June. On Nemagard.
